NRA V. SAN FRANCISCO
Judge Andrew Napolitano: San Francisco Violates NRA’s Freedom of Speech Under Constitution
September 12, 2019
In 1791, when Rep. James Madison was drafting the first 10 amendments to the Constitution – which would become known as the Bill of Rights – he insisted that the most prominent amendment among them restrain the government from interfering with the freedom of speech.
....We don't elect government to identify ideas it loves or hates. We elect it to protect our freedoms. Stated differently, who cares what the government thinks?
In San Francisco, one needs to care. The city government there has condemned the National Rifle Association, labeled it a domestic terrorist organization and prohibited city agencies from interacting with it or with those with whom it interacts, because of the NRA's robust defense of the Second Amendment. Guest Column: Have They Lost Their Minds?

“San Francisco officials brand NRA a ‘domestic terrorist organization’” – that was the headline in the September 4, 2019, Fox News article by Adam Shaw.... “Have they lost their minds” you ask? No, probably not. My guess is this is all part of one, well-planned, well-considered and well-executed “grand scheme.” They know exactly what they are doing. Opinion: The NRA Is Many things, But It’s Not A Terrorist Organization
Los Angeles Times

...does the NRA’s responsibility for loose gun laws make it a “domestic terrorist organization”? The San Francisco Board of Supervisors thinks so, and approved a resolution on Tuesday purporting to “declare” it as such. The resolution may be good politics, but it’s irresponsible for several reasons. READ MORE

The Washington Post

Liberals often wonder where conservatives get the notion that they are hated and despised. Wonder no more: Just look at the San Francisco Board of Supervisors’ resolution labeling the National Rifle Association a “domestic terrorist organization.” Words matter, and there are few words that stigmatize a person faster than calling him or her a terrorist.
